Join a dynamic Emergency Department team as an Advanced Paramedic Registered Nurse, providing both direct and indirect patient care with clinical competence and flexibility under the supervision of physicians and nursing staff. Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure excellent service recovery and conflict resolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and communicate patient health information to RNs and physicians throughout the visit.
• Keep patients informed about their treatment plans and assist in delivering and documenting care.
• Perform specialized emergency care tasks under RN supervision, including vital signs, wound care, oxygen administration, and cardiac monitoring.
• Conduct phlebotomy, basic lab procedures, wound cultures, point-of-care testing, EKGs, and splint application.
• Insert and discontinue IV catheters for adult and pediatric patients, documenting accordingly.
• Maintain clean and stocked treatment areas and report equipment issues promptly.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient information.
• Serve a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to geriatrics.

Education

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience

Previous hospital experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Licensure and Certifications

Current MICT-Paramedic certification and Healthcare Provider BLS (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
