Registered Nurse - Telemetry | Lafayette, LA | Night Shift 12-Hour

What You'll Do

Provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act
Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans, especially for telemetry patients
Monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms in a telemetry setting, responding promptly to changes
Effectively delegate tasks to licensed and ancillary team members, ensuring coordinated care
Educate patients and families about procedures, medications, and health management
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

What You Need

Required:

Current RN license in Louisiana
BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including telemetry preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

Preferred:

Additional certifications in critical care or telemetry specialty areas
Experience in fast-paced hospital environments
