Warehouse Specialist

A Warehouse Specialist plays a critical role in managing inventory, shipping and receiving operations, and ensuring the accuracy, organization, and availability of parts and materials. This role ensures that BFS' inventory is properly received, stored, tracked, and distributed to support operational needs. The position interfaces with multiple departments to maintain efficient warehouse operations and supports compliance with company policies, safety standards, and aviation-related requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

• Accurately stocking and organizing inventory within designated warehouse locations
• Picking, packing, and preparing materials for internal distribution or external shipment
• Maintaining accurate inventory records within company systems
• Conducting cycle counts and assisting with full inventory audits
• Ensuring proper labeling, identification, and traceability of parts and materials
• Coordinating with purchasing, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure timely availability of required items
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of warehouse facilities
• Ensuring compliance with company safety procedures and warehouse best practices
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (as trained)
• Supporting inventory process improvements
• Supporting documentation and tracking requirements for regulated aviation materials
