This position is responsible for moving product through the distribution center, safely and accurately, while following all safety and company policies and procedures.  This position is also responsible for maintaining a positive work environment by communicating and interacting in a manner that is conducive to the purpose and mission of the company overall.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Process Orders

• Verify and apply stickers for Inbound and Outbound Processes.
• Process hazardous materials in accordance with International Civil Aviation Regulations.
• Able to use a Radio Frequency Terminal / Scan gun to process product throughout warehouse.
• Required to use assigned individual security passwords
• Assure compliance to all procedures related to Regulatory, Environmental, Health and Safety Requirements (Including spills, damages, and returns).
• Process and stage damaged product in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
• Must use correct pallets and packaging (as required by customer or country) to ship product.
• Participate in projects/teams to continuously improve the operation and key result areas (i.e., safety, quality, service and cost).
• Utilize Warehouse Computer Applications (WMS, RF Equipment)
• Performing other tasks, as assigned.

Documentation

• Complete Pick/Pack documents for Freezer products and packing lists, as required.
• Document Inventory Discrepancies.
• Complete training assignments, on time.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 

·         Employee is regularly required to stand; talk and hear; use hands to handle materials or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel and crouch.

·         The employee frequently is required to walk, lift and/or move up to 65 pounds. 

·         Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. 

·         Employees are regularly exposed to other moving Powered Industrial Equipment, extreme cold and extreme heat.

·         All employees performing this job are responsible for maintaining Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

·         Employees are required to perform all assigned duties and any additional tasks, including cross-training.

·         This position requires that employees performing this job follow all Health and Safety procedures.

Education and/or Experience:

Include the education and experience that is necessary to perform the job satisfactorily.

Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• Counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication & division with the assistance of a calculator.  Ability to Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to read a limited number of two-and three syllable words and recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. 
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Ability to work overtime, as necessary, scheduled, or unscheduled.
• Ability to understand temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius.

Preferred

• Good Manufacturing Practices
• Warehouse Management Systems Experience

The pay rate is based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
