The Billing Administrator is a key member of a small finance team, responsible for managing accurate and timely billing operations. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role ensures all invoices are processed, payments tracked, and accounts reconciled efficiently while maintaining clear communication with customers. The position requires proficiency with billing software and a strong attention to detail to support smooth financial processes without the need for travel.
Responsibilities
- Process invoices accurately and promptly using designated billing software
- Track and monitor customer payments to ensure timely receipt
- Perform account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding billing inquiries and issues
- Generate and maintain billing reports for the finance team
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in billing or accounts receivable
- Familiarity with billing software
- Experience in accounts receivable processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective problem-solving abilities
