Act as a bridge between Editorial, Events, Digital, and Commercial teams, ensuring alignment across content, audience, and revenue objectives
Drive the global growth of the NEXT series, including new market launches and the evolution of existing flagship events

Uphold Reuters’ editorial integrity while enabling innovation in formats, content delivery, and audience engagement
Introduce new ideas and products that extend NEXT beyond traditional events into a broader global platform
Lead, develop, and inspire a global team, managing performance, resourcing, and development across multiple markets
Operate effectively in a multi-stakeholder, international environment, aligning diverse teams around a single vision
Collaborate with Event Operations to ensure delivery excellence, budget management, and an exceptional customer experience
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Senior Portfolio Manager (Head of Reuters NEXT) , if you have:
Experience leading complex, high-profile event portfolios or media-led platforms with a strong commercial focus
A track record of delivering commercial success, growing revenue across multiple channels and markets
The ability to operate at the intersection of editorial, content, and commercial strategy, balancing integrity with growth
Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across global, cross-functional teams
A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to align diverse teams around shared objectives
Experience building and scaling new products, formats, or business lines within a dynamic environment
Confidence working with senior stakeholders, including editorial leaders, commercial partners, and C-level audiences
A global outlook, with the ability to work across regions, cultures, and markets
A passion for innovation and a willingness to test and evolve new ideas
A strong leadership profile, with experience managing and developing high-performing teams
As part of the role, you’ll work closely with Editorial, Digital, Sales, Marketing, and Event Operations to ensure Reuters NEXT continues to grow as a globally recognised, commercially successful, and editorially authoritative platform—delivering value for customers while maintaining the standards Reuters is known for.
