Real Estate Paralegal Prologis A day in the life As a Paralegal, you will provide support to the real estate group within the legal department, with specific emphasis on acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and development (including data center developments and conversions) deals. You should thrive in a fast‑paced environment, leverage emerging technology, automation, and AI tools to improve efficiency, and exercise sound judgment and accountability. Key Responsibilities Support all aspects and stages of real estate transactions: title and survey review, due diligence, document preparation, closing logistics, and post‑closing integration and administration, working mostly independently. Lead in preparation, review, editing, and negotiation of legal documentation under supervision of in‑house attorneys (purchase and sale agreements, amendments, closing documents, access and license agreements, easement documents, declarations, CC&Rs, confidentiality agreements, brokerage and listing agreements, etc.). Contact and negotiate with third parties (title companies, surveyors, railroad companies, regulatory bodies). Abstract and summarize material terms of contracts (declarations, covenants, leases, other property‑related documents). Develop professional relationships within and outside the company to facilitate information gathering and research goals. Required 10+ years of real estate and related experience, including a background in real estate transactions, leasing and development, with a law firm or in‑house legal department. Strong PC skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, DocuSign, Outlook) and ability to learn proprietary systems, AI tools, and databases. Experience supporting and closing transactions such as acquisitions, dispositions, ground leases, financings, and developments, working independently. Dedication to professionalism, integrity, collegiality, and ability to work on a wide range of legal matters. Superior written and verbal communication skills. Grace under pressure and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. Independent, proactive, organized, and diligent; thrives with minimal direction. Flexibility to respond quickly and positively to shifting demands. Ability to work under tight deadlines, balance multiple detailed tasks, prioritize and delegate. Maintain strict confidentiality. Anticipate problems, exercise independent judgment, and take action while knowing when to intensify issues. Preferred Experience with SalesForce, Doxsera, Smartsheet, Legora, and SimpleLegal. Experience with data center acquisitions, dispositions, and conversions. Salary Hiring salary range: $39.41–$58.65/hour ($82,000–$122,000 annually), plus status‑dependent bonus target.
