Performs all duties in a manner consistent with current laboratory safety standards. May be asked to travel to another location to perform assigned duties and assist with staffing coverages.Minimum Qualifications:Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT).Proven knowledge of Hospital Isolation, Infection Control protocols, patient comfort/safety, and medical terminology.Demonstrated knowledge of laboratory regulations, laws, and ethical requirements.Possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position.Demonstrated skills/knowledge in basic collection and specimen preparation, storage, and disposal of the specimen.Preferred Qualifications:6 months of hospital experience or greater than 1 year of experience in an Outpatient setting6 months of experience with hospital automation.Proven experience with specimen processing.Demonstrated experience working in a high-volume lab.Special Conditions:Must be able to work various hours and locations, based on business needs.Employment is subject to a criminal background check and a pre-employmentPay Transparency ActAnnual Full Pay Range: $76,275 - $76,275 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)Hourly Equivalent: $36.53 - $36.53Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
