Aircraft Mechanic (A&P) B767 Heavy Maintenance
Pay: $43$45/hr
Shift: Graveyard | 4x10 Schedule (WednesdaySaturday, 9:30 PM 8:00 AM)
We are seeking an experienced A&P Mechanic to support heavy maintenance operations on Boeing 767 aircraft. This position is responsible for the overhaul, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of aircraft airframes, powerplants, and associated systems in accordance with FAA regulations, company procedures, and manufacturer specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, inspections, repairs, and modifications on commercial aircraft and related components.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems to identify and correct deficiencies.
- Complete and sign off maintenance records and work performed in compliance with FAA requirements.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Identify worn, damaged, or defective parts and ensure corrective action is taken.
- Support housekeeping and maintenance of work areas and company equipment.
- Attend required training and perform additional duties as assigned by maintenance leadership.
Qualifications:
- FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License required.
- Minimum 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience, preferably in line maintenance.
- Experience on Boeing 737, 767, 777, and/or 787 aircraft strongly preferred.
- Heavy transport category aircraft experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of Part 121, 125, and/or 145 operations.
- Ability to pass FAA/DOT pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Valid passport or ability to obtain one.
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, lift, and work in a hangar environment for extended periods.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Francisco, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
