Clinic locations: Puyallup, Kent, Auburn, and Gig Harbor The Integrated Mental Health Therapist (IMHT) works within a multidisciplinary team embedded in the primary care clinic and utilizes the Collaborative Care model of care. The team includes the IMHT, Psychiatric Consultant, and Primary Care Provider to provide comprehensive behavioral health services within the primary care setting. The IMHT will provide evidence-based interventions in partnership with the treatment team to promote symptom reduction and optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Assess patient's symptoms and create a customized treatment plan based on individual patient needs. Screen patients for common behavioral health disorders using PHQ-9, GAD-7, Columbia Suicide Risk Assessment, or other tools. Monitor patients for changes in clinical symptoms and treatment side effects/complications, with a goal of symptom reduction. Support psychotropic medication management prescribed by PCPs, focusing on treatment adherence, side effects, and effectiveness. Track patient follow-up and clinical outcomes using a registry and re-engage patients. Facilitate care plan changes for patients who are not improving, including medication changes, psychosocial treatments, or appropriate referrals. Manage behavioral health crises arising in a primary care setting. Provide flexible behavioral health services to patients on and off current caseload via scheduled appointments and immediate interventions during medical visits with PCPs. FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Day Potentially up to $5,000 sign on bonus! Potentially up to $10,000 relocation bonus! Position Summary The Licensed Integrated Mental Health Therapist-BHN is responsible for independently providing assessments, treatment/care planning and psychosocial therapy within a primary care clinic setting for a diverse population of preventative, acute care and chronic disease management patients. The incumbent uses a variety of theoretical treatment models and interventions and excellent communication skills to work within a primary care/chronic disease management team with limited supervision. Requirements Master's degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field. Licensed as a Mental Health Professional as defined within HB 1724, holding one of the following higher credentials: Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Minimum two (2) years of experience in a behavioral health setting. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits and paid time off.
