The Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) has an opening for a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Child & Career Development Center in Coatesville, PA. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Administer tube feedings.
• Administer medications as prescribed by a doctor on a daily basis.
• Documentation of prescription medication administration to students in electronic medical system.
• Implement seizure precautions and treatments.
• Attend field trips and community-based trips.
• Provide tracheostomy care and, if needed, replacement of tracheostomy tube.
• Support with toileting routines in the nurse's office.
• Provide first aid and emergency care for injuries and illnesses.
• Implement nursing care plans as prescribed.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required OR LPN program completed required
• Current registered nurse licensure required OR LPN licensure required
• Experience working with special needs children preferred.
• Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required (must be dated within one year of hire date).

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7.5 hours per day; 185 days per year

Salary: Support Level 11: $24.82 - $32.90
