As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Morristown Post Acute, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, providing rehabilitation services in a state-of-the-art setting.

About the Role:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to design and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with a range of conditions, including cardiac, orthopedic, renal, and pulmonary issues. You will conduct evaluations, set goals, and assist with therapies, including exercises, stretches, and modalities. [Physical Therapist Assistant] will also ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient evaluations and assessments to identify rehabilitation needs

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with licensed Physical Therapists

• Assist with therapies, including exercises, stretches, and modalities

• Provide education and instruction to patients and families on rehabilitation techniques and self-care

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting or related field preferred

• Current PTA certification in the state of New Jersey

• Minimum 0 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
