Category/Area of Expertise: Retail Store Positions Job Requisition: 496729 Address: USA-PA-Richboro-1025 2nd Street Pike Store Code: GC - Store Mgrs (5047746) Primary Purpose The primary purpose of this job is to handle and possess knowledge of all deli products. Team members receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, mark, package product, and stock shelves, cases, and bins, while maintaining neat attractive conditions and properly signed displays. Duties and Responsibilities Provide quality customer service; answer questions, make recommendations, and promote products through suggestive selling. Receive, process, prepare, wrap, slice, weigh, mark, and package products. Maintain proper shelf, case, and display conditions, including stocking, cleaning, straightening, and rotating product (typically weighing less than 30 lbs.). Maintain cooler conditions by coding, rotating, organizing cases of product (often weighing more than 20 lbs., occasionally up to 50 lbs.), and cleaning. Maintain proper prep area conditions by cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, utensils, and equipment. Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations applicable to the deli area. Maintain safe and clean sales floor conditions, including sweeping and mopping. Dress according to company policy and maintain a neat, clean appearance at all times. Complete ELM training courses as they are added to the learning page. Follow all general rules, including reporting accidents, providing first aid, following instructions, reporting unsafe conditions, wearing appropriate apparel and footwear, and following company policy on harmful behaviors. Demonstrate proper food safety and sanitation habits. Use proper lifting procedures and keep floors and work areas clear and clean. Work in a smoke-free shop; smoke only in designated areas. General Rules Report all accidents and file incident reports to the supervisor within 24 hours. Use a First Aid kit immediately for all injuries. Follow instructions; ask questions if in doubt. Report unsafe conditions to the supervisor. Apparel and footwear must follow company policy. Horseplay is forbidden. No running on premises. Know emergency evacuation routes, exits, and alarms. Wear required PPE, including cut-resistant gloves when working with knives or blades. Use proper lifting procedures. Never leave running machinery unattended. Follow Lockout/Tagout training and complete Confined Space and Right to Know training. Qualifications Authorized to work in the U.S. Communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations to execute job duties satisfactorily. Meet ergonomic and physical requirements and base scores for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Use or learn to use the equipment and tools required for this job. Physical Requirements Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs. Job cycles: continual maximum. Lift/carry: up to 50 lbs. Stands 55%, sits 0%, walks 45% of time. Category IV: lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs. Max pull static: 20 lbs. Exposure to temperatures ranging from freezer environment to back room that is not air-conditioned; weather conditions may apply.
