The Forklift Operator plays a crucial role in the efficient handling and movement of materials within an indoor warehouse environment. Operating all types of forklift equipment, this role demands a commitment to safety, precision in loading and unloading, and coordination with inventory management processes to maintain smooth warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate all types of forklift equipment to move materials safely and efficiently
- Handle loading and unloading of materials with accuracy
- Maintain strict compliance with safety standards and protocols
- Manage inventory movement within the warehouse to support workflow
- Assist with material handling tasks as required
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Forklift Operator Certification
- Strong knowledge of forklift operations and warehouse safety
- Basic maintenance skills related to equipment
- Experience with inventory management
- Effective time management and attention to detail
- Solid communication skills and physical stamina
