.NET Developer

Job Overview:


We are seeking experienced .NET Developers to support mission-critical airline catering operations applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in .NET development, APIs/services, cloud-based platforms, and event-driven architectures, with the ability to build scalable and high-performing applications supporting real-time operational workflows. This role involves developing and enhancing systems related to flight provisioning, inventory management, onboard sales, logistics, flight attendant interactions, food safety automation, and operational tracking. Candidates should be comfortable working in Agile environments and collaborating closely with technical teams and business stakeholders.

Required Skill:

• Multiple years of experience in software design, development, testing, debugging, and deployment within Agile environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with:

• .NET / ASP.NET Core
• Web APIs & backend service development
• C#
• REST APIs
• JSON/XML integrations
• SQL databases
• Cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)

• Experience building scalable distributed applications and backend systems.
• Knowledge of real-time processing and operational systems.
• Experience with messaging/event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Git-based AI tooling.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Desired Skill :

• Experience in airline, aviation, catering, logistics, or other operationally intensive environments.
• Understanding of compliance, auditability, data security, and operational reliability requirements.
• Experience supporting workflow-driven and inventory management systems.
• Exposure to cloud certifications and SAFe Agile methodologies is a plus.

Application Development & Delivery

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise applications supporting airline catering operations.
• Build scalable web applications, backend services, and APIs using .NET technologies.
• Develop solutions supporting real-time processing, high transaction volumes, and time-sensitive operational workflows.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business SMEs to deliver technical solutions aligned with operational needs.
• Support cloud-native and on-premise application environments.

Integration & Architecture

• Integrate catering systems with airline operational platforms, external vendors, APIs, and analytics systems.
• Develop robust RESTful APIs and middleware integrations using JSON/XML.
• Assist in designing scalable architectures for provisioning, inventory, and logistics workflows.
• Implement resilient, highly available, and fault-tolerant solutions.
• Support messaging and event-driven architectures for operational data exchange.

Agile Execution & Quality Assurance

• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support QA/UAT activities.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
• Identify and communicate project risks, blockers, and dependencies.
• Promote coding standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
