Access Control and Fire Alarm

This is with a family owned company is consistently nationally ranked in the top 30 in a widely recognized Industry publication, Security Distributing & Marketing Magazine (SDM). The publication ranks the top 100 Security Dealers in the Country on an annual basis.

We have a need for a low voltage Installation and Service technician with experience installing home automation, burglar and fire alarm systems. Salary will be commensurate with experience and skill level.

Position Details:

The primary role of this position is to install, test, inspect service, troubleshoot and repair low voltage systems and devices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Services, troubleshoots and repairs low voltage systems, wiring and devices.

• Test and Inspection of fire alarm systems

• Installation of CCTV , Security alarm and Access control systems

• Programming of systems when needed

• Educate and train end users on system operation and functionality.

• Maintains the necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).

• Ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.

• Utilize our field service units (IPAD) for documentation of service a

• Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.

• Posses a strong work ethic with attention to detail

• Minimum Qualifications (Education, Skills & Experience):

• Must have solid experience in the low voltage industry.

• Must have knowledge of trouble shooting low voltage systems

• Must have a working knowledge of local/national codes.

• Must be able to read plans, use a variety of tools and install panels, boxes and wiring accordingly.

• OSHA 10 or higher is preferred

• Must have a valid driver's license.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wildwood, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $36.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Wildwood,NJ.
