About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving the financial strategy, operational performance, and organizational scalability of the business. The CFO will be responsible for leading all accounting and financial operations, including month-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. They will also be tasked with developing and delivering financial insights, KPIs, and variance analysis, as well as maintaining strong internal controls and ensuring GAAP compliance. The successful candidate will partner with the CEO and President, and will be expected to have a hands-on leadership approach, with a focus on strategic oversight. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' progressive finance and accounting leadership experience, with a preference for those with a background in construction or project-based industries. Strong expertise in project accounting, job costing, and WIP reporting is essential, as is experience in family-owned or privately held businesses. The role requires a candidate with a strong knowledge of GAAP and financial controls, and ERP implementation experience is a must. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is also required. The CFO will be responsible for managing various financial relationships, overseeing a range of financial functions, and will be expected to evaluate and implement improvements in financial systems, ERP, and processes. Building, mentoring, and developing a high-performing finance team is a key aspect of the role.
