Assembler - 1st Shift

Production Assembler

1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Overtime: Fridays as needed

Starting Pay: $16 per hour

Position Summary

The Production Assembler is responsible for assembling components into sub-assemblies and/or final assemblies according to established guidelines and quality standards. This role plays a key part in ensuring customers receive high-quality products that are assembled correctly and consistently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assemble sub-assemblies and/or final products according to written instructions, prints, and quality standards
• Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and correctly
• Inspect parts and finished assemblies to ensure quality requirements are met
• Identify and communicate potential quality issues to leadership
• Maintain a clean and organized work area; return tools and equipment at the end of the shift
• Assist other departments or functions as needed

Qualifications

• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
• Assembly experience preferred
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Dependable with consistent attendance
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and apply new skills

Physical Demands

• Stand and walk for extended periods
• Frequent use of hands for handling, fingering, and assembling parts
• Regular lifting up to 20 lbs; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
• Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Work Environment

• Industrial manufacturing environment
• Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and vibration
• Moderate noise levels
