Role Description

This is a contract-based, remote role for an OASIS and Home Health Coding Specialist. The specialist will be responsible for reviewing and coding patient records accurately, ensuring compliance with OASIS guidelines. Key responsibilities include auditing documentation for accuracy, collaborating with home health teams to achieve appropriate coding outcomes, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards. This role contributes directly to operational success and patient care quality.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively liaise with home health teams and agency staff.
• Knowledge in Occupational Health and Medicine, with a focus on applying accurate coding and understanding clinical procedures.
• Background in Health Promotion and a commitment to compliance with quality standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Proficiency in OASIS and home health coding, with certification (e.g., HCS-O, HCS-D, COS-C) required.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Experience in the home health care industry and familiarity with relevant software tools are advantageous.
