Madden's is currently seeking Spa Professionals to perform nail services in our high end lakeside spa.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
• Provide consistent professional nail, hand, and foot treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
• Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the spa.
• Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
• Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas.
• Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa's policies and procedures.
• Perform prep work and properly clean and restock work area as required.
• Communicate to management all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
• Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions, and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
• Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
• Provide accurate, appropriate, and immediate responses to all requests by guests ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
• Possess the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
• Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
• Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management.
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Skills and Abilities:

• Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
• Proficiency with Gel Nail application.
• Ability to sell products to our clients based on the products you use while rendering services.
• Experience with nail art is highly desirable.

Education/Experience:

Valid MN Nail Technician or Cosmetology License. Experience is preferred, but not necessary. Manager's license is a plus.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position does not require any supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment:

Work is performed in a quiet and relaxing spa environment.

Physical Demands:

Primarily sitting for prolonged periods of time. Must have the ability to stand, walk, talk/hear, both in person and by telephone, occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.

Expected Hours of Work:

Mid-April through December and with rotating 9-5 and 10-6 shifts. We do require weekend work, either every other weekend (both Saturday and Sunday), or one weekend day every week (Saturday or Sunday).

Travel:

Less than 10% travel required.
