Senior Data Engineer

Help shape the future of a growing manufacturing and distribution organization by building the data foundation that drives smarter decisions. Our client is seeking a hands-on Senior Data Engineer to lead data governance, forecasting, analytics, and AI initiatives while partnering directly with executive leadership to influence long-term business strategy.

- Build trusted, governed enterprise data solutions
- Develop scalable Power BI reporting and forecasting
- Integrate CRM and business systems into a unified data model
- Establish data quality and validation standards
- Evaluate Microsoft Fabric and AI technologies
- Partner with executives to deliver actionable business insights
- Mentor a junior data professional on engineering best practices
- Expertise in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, SQL, and data modeling
- Experience building enterprise data governance practices
- CRM or ERP integration experience
- Forecasting and predictive analytics expertise
- Ability to lead AI adoption initiatives using Microsoft Copilot, Claude, or similar tools
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to business leaders #INDIT
