TH Surgical Technologist 1 (ORT)

Job Summary: Describes anatomy/steps for surgeries; Uses sterile technique; assists surgical team with procedure; collaborates with other members of OR team; transports patients; Demonstrates knowledge of normal growth and development in the delivery of care; Facilitates open communication with all team members; Initiates and supports the teaching mentoring process; Maintains a safe work environment; resolves problems on a one-to-one basis; Takes an active role in professional development. Minimum Qualifications: Be eligible for certification by Association of Surgical Technologists through the completion of a formal certificate or degree program in Surgical Technology or by meeting the Association of Surgical Technologists experience requirements preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Work Days: Full-time (1.0), M-F, Day/Evenings, on call rotation nights, weekends and holiday rotation as required by bargaining agreements.
