Quality Manager

Responsible for managing quality practices and delivering operational performance; improving existing processes by implementing best practices and systems. Ensure the organization’s Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, ISO 9001, IATF16949, VDA and regulatory/legal requirements. Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal and external processes that impact the performance of the organization’s objectives. Engage with customers, employees, contractors, and outsourcing firms to develop and maintain product/process requirements. Develop and lead a cross-functional team on the proper integration of process flows, FMEA's, control plans, and FTP from initial versions through production versions. Support advanced product quality planning (APQP) to ensure effective product launches. Make recommendations, plans, and suggestions that promote continuous improvement throughout the organization. Responsible for the problem resolution process, whether an internal or customer identified issue, including ensuring deadlines are met and using standard reporting tools (8D or a customer specified variant). Act as an organization representative, including visiting customer and vendor facilities. Responsible for correspondence with customers concerning audit results, customer rejected material and other technical matters. Develop and upgrade the talent of the operational quality team.
