Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Weekend rotation required | Holiday rotation required | No call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting, maintaining expected patient ratios of 1:5
• Perform cardiac telemetry monitoring, including management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Manage peripheral lines and PICC line care and management
• Titrate drips as ordered and in accordance with unit protocols
• Float to other campuses within the health system as needed
• Complete unit-based orientation modules (non-billable, averaging 2–4 hours, completed during orientation)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required; first-time travelers are welcome
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Cardiac telemetry experience required
• Experience with PCU patient ratios (1:5) required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
• No open background check cases permitted
• Current driver's license required to verify address
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Requested time off must be submitted with the application; no post-submission RTO will be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a multi-campus health system environment
• Familiarity with float pool or cross-campus assignments
• Strong critical thinking skills in a fast-paced stepdown or intermediate care setting
