What You Will Do

• Perform in-depth patient evaluations, prescribe diagnostic tests, and devise personalized treatment regimens
• Diagnose and treat a spectrum of health issuesacute, chronic, and everything in betweenworking in tandem with physicians or independently (as warranted by credentials)
• Instruct patients and their families on wellness, preventative measures, and managing chronic conditions
• Prescribe necessary medications and therapies within your professional boundaries
• Be involved in patient follow-up and ongoing management of chronic issues
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive, integrated care
• Maintain meticulous and accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR)

Educational Prerequisites

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Necessary Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Nevada
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or corresponding specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to achieve within 90 days)
