Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Opportunity: Advanced Practice - (CRNA) - Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Job Details: * Preference for 5 eight-hour days full time; will accept 4 ten-hour days and 1 eight-hour day per week * Preference for Delaware-licensed providers * Board certification required; minimum certification level: Certified * BLS certification required * Facility is a Level 3 trauma center with 8 operating rooms * Surgical cases include cardiac, complete orthopedic, complex vascular, OB, regional, and thoracic procedures * Preferred anesthesia skills include general anesthesia (adult, neonatal, and trauma), spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and obstetrical cases * Additional preferred skills include thoracic cases, complex vascular cases, complex orthopedic cases, and pain management techniques * Post-op epidural and extremity block management preferred * Epidural steroid injections for lumbar and cervical, as well as transforaminal procedures (lumbar and cervical), preferred * Use of X-ray guidance in performance of blocks preferred * Ventilation management and evaluation of acute volume/BP issues preferred * Central line, arterial line, and PA catheter placement preferred * Ongoing locum tenens assignment Facility: This community-based hospital serves as a regional healthcare resource offering a broad range of inpatient and outpatient services.
