About the Position

06154M – If you're looking for a Permanent position in rural AK – this is an amazing opportunity! We're seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for this role. This position is Monday – Friday, no weekends, and no call. You'll be joining a supportive team, dedicated to their community. Although the location is rural, it is on the road system, so driving to larger urban areas is feasible. Job Type: W-2 Permanent Role

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
• No Call, No Weekends

Responsibilities:  

• Patient Volume: Averages 12 per day
• Staffing Mix: RN, MA, Physician on-site
• Travel to cover at sister clinic may be required

Requirements:

• Active Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with the State of Alaska
• Active BLS, ACLS
• Active DEA registration
• Minimum 2 years of solo full-spectrum primary care and urgent care experience
• Must have good primary, chronic and preventative care experience
• Experience with Medivac preferred
• Alaska bush experience preferred
• Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
