RN - MICU Profession: RN Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years previous ICU experience License: Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing Certifications: BLS, ACLS (from AHA) Must-Have: Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare personnel. Description:Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families.Effectively communicates pertinent patient and family information to the healthcare team.Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required.A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.Previous experience in a trauma level 2 facility is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
