This facility is rooted in a mission of compassion, structure, and evidence-based care—offering a serene environment for recovery and professional growth. We are currently seeking a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor who is passionate about helping individuals navigate their path to recovery in a structured and supportive setting. What You’ll Do: Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions using evidence-based modalities such as CBT and Motivational Interviewing Develop and revise individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team in weekly case reviews Support residents in developing coping strategies and discharge planning What You Bring: Active certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor in CA (e.g., CAADE, CCAPP, CADTP) At least 1 year of experience in a residential or inpatient setting preferred Strong communication and documentation skills ASAM Certified and CPR/First Aid certified (or willingness to obtain) Perks and Benefits: Health, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) with matching Generous PTO and flexible scheduling Supportive and mission-driven team environment If you're ready to make a meaningful difference while working alongside a team of dedicated professionals, we’d love to connect.
