Merchandiser Travel Retail Service Responsible for representing Acosta, our clients, and our customers by effectively working in teams to perform reset and remodel work including reading and implementing planograms, new item placement, void corrections, and special merchandising activity. Perform duties such as moving and cleaning shelves, installing new racks and shelves, displaying merchandise properly, placing shelf strips and attaching tags, checking date codes and plan‑ogram integrity, and processing pack‑outs, restocks and reorders. Partner with store personnel and co‑workers to achieve and maintain merchandising excellence, discuss changes, and build effective working relationships. Prepare, process, submit and manage documentation related to reset and remodel work accurately and on time. Perform job safely by demonstrating full awareness of surroundings, using appropriate safety equipment, and alerting management to unsafe conditions. Understand and follow all Acosta policies and standard operating procedures. Work in cold environmental conditions (refrigerated and freezer sections) for limited periods. Travel with overnight stays up to 75–100% of the time; occasional weekend work required; must be at least 21 years old to obtain necessary credentials. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. At least 1 year of experience reading and using planograms; retail and reset responsibility experience preferred. Excellent organizational and communication skills, with ability to build relationships with business partners. Comfortable utilizing technology such as smartphones, computers, fax, and handheld devices. Strong competence in quality commitment, detail orientation, customer service and communication skills. Ability to work accurately with web‑based applications for work availability, assignment, documentation, mileage, expenses, time and attendance, and training. Willingness to work in cold conditions for limited periods. Strong interpersonal, organizational, decision‑making and leadership skills; ability to read and communicate effectively with others.
