Locum Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Family Practice in Des Moines, IA

Nurse Practitioner | Family Practice Location: Des Moines, IA Employer: All Medical Personnel Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 2 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) | Iowa Position Overview Practice setting: In home health assessments Schedule: ASAP - Ongoing | Monday - Sunday | 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Workload: 5 to 8 assessments per day (assessments typically last 45 to 75 minutes; last appointment is scheduled around 6:00 PM) Ideal availability: 2 full days per week or more, including at least one weekday (weekend only availability is not accepted) What You Will Do Complete in home health and wellness assessments for health insurance plan members Perform H&P style evaluations and medication review Collect vitals and complete basic point of care screenings as needed (for example blood pressure, finger stick, urine sample) and leave a fecal kit for the patient to mail in Patient Population Ages seen: Geriatrics Patients per day: 5 to 8 Tools, Support, and Autonomy Documentation: Proprietary system via iPad Autonomy: Provider works solo with access to a provider hotline for support Travel, Coverage, and Logistics Travel to patient homes within Iowa (scheduled by counties and provider availability) Travel radius requirement: minimum 75 miles from the provider home address Travel and lodging: hotel may be provided for travel beyond 75 miles; rental car may be provided based on weekly assessment volume; flights may be provided for extended consecutive weekday availability Required Qualifications Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant National certification for NP or PA Active and unrestricted Iowa license NPI CAQH (may be completed during credentialing if not already established) Valid driver license Proof of auto insurance DEA: Not required Credentialing and Onboarding Credentialing and onboarding are completed by the client Estimated timeline: 30 to 45 days (self paced) Common items requested include an application, CV in month year format, driver license, diploma, CAQH login, proof of auto insurance, NPI, training modules, and national certification Additional Expectations Provider typically submits monthly availability in advance Two weeks notice is expected if availability changes or assignments need to be canceled Benefits Malpractice insurance coverage Weekly electronic pay Refer & earn program How to Apply Email CV to Call us at Ready to take your career to the next level?
