Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate patients functional abilities and develop tailored treatment plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer occupational therapy interventions using specialized equipment and techniques.
  
  
• 
  Document patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record system.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and activity modifications.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physical, speech, and other therapy staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  
  
• 
  Maintain compliance with unit policies, equipment protocols, and safety standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a current Colorado state license in Occupational Therapy and NBCOT certification.
  
  
• 
  Possess at least 6 months of current OT experience in inpatient rehabilitation or acute care settings.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate BLS certification and proficiency in using therapy equipment such as Vector System and Lite Gait Systems.
  
  
• 
  Experience working with neurological and orthopedic populations preferred.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
