Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions via our secure online platform, ensuring privacy and confidentiality for all clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including treatment plans and session notes, utilizing our intuitive electronic health record system.
- Develop and periodically revisit treatment goals in collaboration with clients, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and licensure regulations specific to Florida, ensuring high standards of care in all interactions.
- Engage in professional development activities, including peer consultation, continuing education, and internal training workshops.
Patient Population / Client Focus
In this role, you will work with a diverse client population across Florida, encompassing various ages, backgrounds, and presenting issues. Your focus will be on providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care to clients seeking support for relationship challenges, mental health disorders, and family dynamics. You will have the opportunity to build lasting therapeutic relationships and contribute to positive client outcomes.
Qualifications
- A current, active LMFT license in Florida is required.
- A minimum of two years of professional experience in providing therapy, particularly with couples and family systems.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; higher degrees in mental health disciplines are preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and an ability to work independently.
- A commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed therapeutic practices.
Preferred Experience
- Proficiency in models such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, EMDR, or other evidence-based practices.
- Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, or Creole, are highly encouraged to apply.
Compensation and Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
