Braiding Machine Operator

About the Role As a Braiding Machine Operator, must have experience working with tools and in a medical manufacturing environment. We offer fair wages, vacation & bonuses. Location: Maple Grove, MN, USA Job Type: Full Time Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30pm (Monday to Friday) What you’ll be doing Operation and set‑up of the horizontal and vertical braiding machine. Adjustment to the tooling to ensure proper coverage and dimension; visual attention must be given to the gears, gauges, wire detectors. Physical transfer of full bobbins to the braider decks. Removal of the empty bobbins from the braider deck. Clean braiders, benches, and other related equipment using specified solvents and cleaning materials. Maintain a cleaning log. Perform inspection of product as required. Performs other duties assigned as needed. What We Are Looking For High School Diploma or GED 1‑2 years machine operator experience; braiding machine experience is a plus Basic computer skills Ability to operate small parts Ability to read work instructions and drawings Ability to effectively communicate Ability to accurately and consistently record all measurements with tape measures, calipers and/or micrometers for quality audit documentation Ability to lift 50 pounds at times, pushing and pulling Reliable and always on time Has the ability to multi‑task Experience With The Following a Plus Production Plastics Medical device Strong mechanical skills Complete the Device History Record and other related forms using Good Documentation Practices #J-18808-Ljbffr One Medical Extrusion
