Junior Patent Associate

This firm is hiring a junior patent associate with a background in mechanical or chemical engineering to join their Intellectual Property practice in offices located in Chicago, Denver, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., or Wilmington. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of patent prosecution experience, a bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering or a related field (a graduate degree is a plus), and demonstrated expertise in mechanical technologies. Additionally, experience with chemical or materials science patents is desirable. Candidates must have strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and be licensed to practice before the USPTO and admitted to a relevant state bar, or have wave-in capability. The firm seeks a collaborative and motivated individual who thrives in a team-oriented, client-focused environment. The starting annual salary for this position is expected to range between $175,000 and $255,000.
