Nursing Professional Development Practitioner, AVH, Full Time

Job Title

Provides professional nursing care to patients through the nursing process; responsible for the assigned educational components.

Essential Responsibilities

• Implements staff training, educational programs, and other AHNCI initiatives.
• Serves as clinical liaison for QI/EBP initiatives, regulatory preparation, and EMR facilitation.
• Precepts new hires to the AHNCI.
• Provides expert direct nursing care to complex patients.
• Contributes to the achievements of departmental, divisional, and organizational goals.
• Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills with collaborative feedback to clinical services.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• CPR certification
• 3 years of assigned clinical specialty area experience
• 3 years of computer experience

Preferred

• Master's degree in Nursing Education
• Nursing specialty certification
• 3 years of education experience
