WELDER / FABRICATOR
Monday - Friday
6:00 am - 3:00 pm, hours could vary
$21.00 per hour
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform welding and metal fabrication for facility projects, repairs, and modifications.
- Weld, fabricate, and repair fences, gates, and other metal structures.
- Measure, fit, cut, and assemble metal components as required.
- Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts for quality, accuracy, and durability.
- Troubleshoot welding and fabrication issues and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
- Assist with general facility maintenance and fabrication projects as needed.
- Safely operate welding equipment, hand tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Previous professional welding and fabrication experience required.
- Strong welding, fitting, and metal fabrication skills.
- Ability to accurately measure, fit, and assemble metal components.
- Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment.
- Must successfully complete a weld test prior to placement.
- Personal welding hood and appropriate protective clothing are welcome but not required; equipment can be provided.
