Role Overview

We are seeking an IAM Engineer with expertise in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) and strong Java development skills to build and support secure, scalable identity solutions. This role combines hands-on implementation, software development, and operational support within the IAM domain.

Key Responsibilities

Identity Governance & Administration

• Implement and maintain IGA capabilities, including user lifecycle management, access requests, entitlement management, and role-based access control
• Conduct access reviews, manage segregation of duties, and ensure compliance with security standards

Application Development & Engineering

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services supporting IAM systems
• Build custom connectors, APIs, microservices, and utilities to enhance IGA capabilities

Automation & Optimization

• Design and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency and scalability of IAM processes
• Continuously enhance tools, workflows, and infrastructure for identity and access management

Documentation & Governance

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, configurations, and operational runbooks
• Contribute to standards, knowledge bases, and best practices within the IAM domain

Operations & Support

• Participate in release planning, change management, and production support activities
• Support audit processes and ensure proper evidence collection and compliance

Collaboration & Advisory

• Work with cross-functional teams to align IAM solutions with business and security requirements
• Provide technical guidance on software solutions, tools, and IAM best practices

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+), including object-oriented design and REST API integrations
• Hands-on experience with Identity Governance tools, particularly SailPoint (IdentityIQ and/or Identity Security Cloud)
• Experience working with IAM domains such as access certifications, privileged access, SSO/federation, and directory services
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Experience with build and deployment tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with a high level of ownership
• Strong communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing custom IAM integrations or middleware solutions
• Strong focus on automation, testing, and documentation
• Understanding of enterprise security practices and compliance requirements
