Community Association Manager

Role Description This full-time Community Association Manager role is a hybrid position based in Houston, TX, with a mix of on-site community visits, in-office work, and some work-from-home flexibility. The Community Association Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned community associations, supporting board members with day-to-day operations, meeting preparation, and follow-up on board directives. Responsibilities include coordinating and attending board and annual meetings, preparing agendas and management reports, and ensuring timely communication with homeowners and vendors. The role also involves overseeing routine maintenance and service requests, monitoring vendor performance, assisting with budgeting and financial reviews, and helping boards interpret governing documents and policies. The Community Association Manager will proactively identify issues, recommend solutions, and foster positive relationships among board members, residents, and service providers.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in community association management, property management, or a related field, preferably with residential or mixed-use communities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple communities, deadlines, and board requests.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear reports, correspondence, and meeting materials.
• Proficiency with office productivity software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing) and willingness to learn association management or accounting platforms. Cinc Systems experience is preferred, but not required.
• Proven problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities, with a calm, professional approach.
• Customer service mindset, with a commitment to responsiveness, follow-through, and quality service to board members and residents.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Availability to attend evening meetings as needed for board and community events.
• Knowledge of community association governance, contracts, and budgeting is preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., CMCA, AMS) are a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field is preferred.
