Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)
Full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) position located in McAlester, Ada, Prague and Atoka, OK

Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Job Responsibilities
- Implement programs or activities as directed by the supervising SLP
- Assist SLP with screenings, assessments and treatment of patients
- Complete documentation
- Communicate with patients, patients' families and physicians and staff
- Assist in the general operation of the department
- Assist with development of programs
Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Requirements
- Education: Either an Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a Bachelor's in Communication Sciences and Disorders (or related field) with SLPA coursework.
- Clinical Experience: At least 100 hours of supervised clinical experience under a licensed SLP.
- Supervision: You must work under the direct or indirect supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Licensing: Apply for licensure through the Oklahoma Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (OBESPA), submit transcripts, verification of clinical hours, and pay the fee.
