Healthcare Assistant Project Manager

Responsibilities Assist the Project Manager in leading the project team, setting goals, developing policies and procedures, and mentoring team members. Carry out duties assigned by the Project Manager to ensure successful completion of the project/program. Leverage cross‑functional expertise to support healthcare projects and initiatives with complex resource requirements, risk, and resource complexity. Monitor design and construction activities to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and the company’s quality standards. Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets, cash flow analyses, cost estimates, and review purchase orders, change orders, and invoices. Identify potential liabilities and risks, forecast challenges, and develop solutions to maintain safety, quality, schedule, and budget compliance. Create, update, and maintain accurate project schedules and ensure that project objectives are met. Maintain client, consultant, contractor, and vendor relationships and resolve conflicts. Communicate complex ideas, anticipate potential concerns, and persuade executives and stakeholders toward positions that support project success. Assist in evaluating, developing, and implementing standards, protocols, policies, and procedures to facilitate project success. Provide guidance, direction, and instruction to less experienced team members and colleagues. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management. Demonstrated history of managing projects of at least $10million in pharmaceutical, laboratory, healthcare, or related construction categories. Experience and knowledge of project management techniques, concepts, principles, and standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively at all levels. Creative problem‑solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution. Experience supervising people, including recruitment, training, performance management, and people development. High proficiency with Microsoft applications, including MS Project, SharePoint, and other project‑management software. Ability to forecast project challenges and define solutions to maintain compliance with safety protocols, quality, schedule, and budget.
