Director, Strategic Procurement - Monitoring Solutions

GE HealthCare seeks a Director of Strategic Procurement for its Monitoring Solutions division to lead supplier negotiations, manage supply chain risk, and drive cost reductions. The role focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier partnerships, and regulatory compliance within a medical technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain vulnerabilities and business risks in partnership with leadership teams
• Lead supplier selection and readiness for new product introductions and transfer programs
• Achieve annual cost reductions of 8% or more through strategic sourcing and value engineering
• Develop and maintain strategic supplier partnerships, negotiate agreements, and manage lifecycle activities
• Ensure supplier quality and regulatory compliance with FDA, EHS, and transportation standards

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years sourcing, operations, or supply chain experience
• Minimum 4 years supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong business and financial acumen with cross-functional collaboration skills
• Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication abilities
• Demonstrated leadership delivering results in dynamic environments
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management (preferred)
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare or pharmaceuticals (preferred)

Compensation: $164,000-$246,000 base annual, plus performance-based incentive compensation
