Night Shift

JOB SUMMARY:

Assures good housekeeping, supervision and personal care of the residents.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate documentation.

• Assists residents when needed for dressing, bathing, eating and bed making.

• Assures that residents are dressed appropriately when in living areas of home or outside the building.

• Takes and records temperature, pulse, respiration rate and blood pressure when appropriate or as directed by physician.

• Administers and records medication and treatments as ordered by physicians.

• Oversees shift operations, ensuring smooth workflow and supervision of staff to maintain high standards of care.

• Performs other related duties as assigned in accordance with Minimum Standards.

EDUCATION

• Knowing and protecting Resident’s privacy rights under new HIPPA rules.

• In house training provided
