Fullstack Developer

Full Stack Developer Location: New Carrollton, Maryland Work Arrangement: Onsite or remote options may be available, subject to client confirmation and project requirements Employment Type: Contract to Hire We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to support a federal technology program. This position requires strong hands‑on experience developing Java based backend services and modern React applications. Candidates must have an active IRS MBI clearance and current Government Furnished Equipment, or GFE. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in progress or completed, with at least two years of relevant professional experience Active IRS MBI clearance Current IRS Government Furnished Equipment, or GFE Strong Java development experience, including knowledge of object oriented design principles and Java design patterns Hands‑on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data JPA Frontend development experience using JavaScript, TypeScript, and React Experience developing responsive web interfaces with HTML and CSS Experience designing and developing APIs that support communication between frontend and backend systems Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably AWS Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, or OpenShift Experience with DevOps and software delivery tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, AppScan, Nexus IQ, GitHub, or GitHub Actions Experience working in an Agile development environment Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with client stakeholders across technical and organizational levels Preferred Qualifications Experience documenting APIs with Swagger or OpenAPI Experience with Node.js or Python Previous experience supporting IRS or other federal technology programs System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
