• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree with an active Missouri license or eligibility to obtain one
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine and treat companion animals, diagnosing and managing diseases or injuries
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and interpret results
• Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options
• Perform surgery and prescribe medication as needed
• Provide guidance on end-of-life care
• Maintain accurate medical records
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant regulations

Requirements:

• Accredited AVMA DVM degree
• Appropriate state licensure and DEA/BNDD eligibility
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to lift and handle patients and equipment (up to 25 pounds, or with assistance)
