Job Title: Licensed Mental Health TherapistOrganization: Healing Hands Mental Health ServicesReports To: Executive Director Location: Hybrid/Community-BasedEmployment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time, Non-ExemptPosition SummaryThe Licensed Mental Health Professional provides independent, high-quality mental health assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic services to individuals and families. This role delivers evidence-based, trauma-informed care while supporting recovery, emotional well-being, and improved quality of life for clients served by Healing Hands. The clinician practices in accordance with professional ethics, state licensure requirements, and organizational policies.Key ResponsibilitiesClinical ServicesConduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluationsDevelop, implement, and review individualized treatment plansProvide individual, group, and/or family psychotherapy using evidence-based modalitiesCrisis Intervention & Risk ManagementAssess and respond to mental health crises, including safety planning and de-escalationCoordinate crisis interventions and referrals to higher levels of care when neededComply with mandatory reporting and risk management protocolsCare Coordination & CollaborationCollaborate with case managers, medical providers, and interdisciplinary team membersParticipate in treatment team meetings and clinical consultationsCoordinate referrals to community resources and support servicesDocumentation & ComplianceMaintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentationEnsure services meet payer, regulatory, and ethical standardsParticipate in audits, quality assurance, and utilization review activitiesProfessional Leadership & SupportProvide clinical guidance and consultation to non-licensed or license-eligible staff as appropriateModel ethical practice, professionalism, and trauma-informed careMaintain licensure, continuing education, and professional competencyQualificationsMasters degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related fieldActive, unrestricted clinical license (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LPCC, Psychologist, or equivalent per state requirements)3+ years of post-licensure clinical experiencePreferredExperience in outpatient, community mental health, or integrated care settingsTraining in evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, trauma-focused therapies, etc.)Experience serving diverse or underserved populationsSkills & CompetenciesStrong diagnostic and therapeutic skillsExcellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilitiesCultural humility and trauma-informed practiceStrong documentation and time-management skillsSound ethical judgment and clinical decision-makingWhy Join Healing HandsOpportunity to lead operations for a mission-driven organization focused on healing, compassion, and community impactCollaborative leadership environmentMeaningful work that makes a difference in peoples livesEqual Employment Opportunity (EEO) StatementHealing Hands is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
