To support the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time New Mexico Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage inbound pharmacy calls, process prescription requests, and resolve medication-related inquiries in a remote environment from an approved alternate worksite within 50 miles of the Albuquerque VA facility. Key Responsibilities Process and submit patient requests for new prescriptions and renewals accurately and timely Answer calls from patients and healthcare professionals, utilizing computerized prescription profiles to respond to inquiries Document interactions and maintain compliance with national performance metrics for inbound call management Required Qualifications Active national certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT or ExCPT) that remains current throughout employment Graduate of an academic pharmacy technician training program High school diploma or GED Minimum one year of customer service-related experience Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
