Reports To: Crew Leader / Project Supervisor Employment Type: Full-Time / HourlyPosition Summary:The Sports Court Applicator is responsible for the preparation, application, and finishing of athletic court surfaces including pickleball, tennis, basketball, and multi-purpose courts. This role involves working with coatings, paints, striping, and various surfacing materials to ensure high-quality, durable installations. Applicants should be physically fit, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outdoors in a hands-on environment.Key Responsibilities:Prepare court surfaces by cleaning, patching, grinding, and leveling as neededApply resurfacing materials such as acrylic coatings, textured layers, and paint using squeegees, rollers, sprayers, and hand toolsLayout and tape lines based on official sport regulationsApply game lines using striping machines, stencils, or hand toolsOperate and maintain application equipment (mixers, blowers, sprayers, etc.)Ensure proper drying times, surface texture, and finish qualityFollow safety standards and always use proper PPEMaintain a clean and organized work area and company vehicleCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team membersTravel to various job sites as needed Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent1+ year experience in surface coatings, painting, or flooring preferredValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to lift 50-75 lbs regularly and work in various weather conditionsComfortable kneeling, bending, and standing for long periodsAbility to read tape measures and layout lines preciselyStrong work ethic and attention to detailWillingness to learn and grow in a trade professionWork Conditions:Outdoor environments, sometimes in hot or humid conditionsPhysical labor includes lifting, walking, stooping, and repetitive motionEarly start times; overtime and weekends may be requiredPreferred Experience (Not Required):Familiarity with sport court products Experience with acrylic coatings or concrete surface prepOSHA 30 certification
