Computed Tomography Technologist

In accordance withestablished professional and departmental standards and procedures, performscomputerized axial tomography procedures on adult patients under the guidanceof a radiologist. Technicalknowledge of various diagnostic imaging procedures . Demonstratesproficiency in the utilization of all aspects of thedepartment’s radiologyinformation system. Accuratelyinterprets and follows physician’s scanning instructions and prescription . Usesindependent judgment and necessary skills in order to obtain high quality CTimages . Educatespatient on the entire process that the patient will undergo for CT procedure. Successful completion from an AMA approved Radiologic TechnologyProgram with ARRT Certification. Certification in CT is highly preferred.Certification in CT through the ARRT is mandatory within one year from date of hire. Minimum 2 years as experienced CT Technologist, preferably withPhilips experience. 3D Imagingexperience highly preferred. Current Certification in Basic Life Support. Venipuncture and Contrast Administration Validation within onemonth of hire date. Ability to workas a contributing member of a highly functioning, cooperative and efficientteam. Ability to workindependently.
