Key Responsibilities

• Interpret the plan of medical care and perform comprehensive patient assessments to guide clinical decision-making.
• Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
• Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records, including patients' medical information and vital signs.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare team members.
• Consult and coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Proficiency in practical nursing principles and skills necessary to provide safe, competent patient care.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive patient information.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical/Surgical nursing setting.
• Familiarity with age-specific care considerations across patient populations.
